We are beyond excited to have our first 2021 Ask the Experts Homebuyer webinar hosted by our own Paul Fedynich. Paul is the team lead for The ViP Home Team @ The Real Estate Collection and our Heroes Housing Central Florida affiliate. In our first Ask the Experts webinar for the year – Paul will be walking us thru the sometimes daunting process of purchasing a home. Click here to register!

As a Heroes Housing affiliate, Paul and his team are always giving back to the community. You will find the ViP Home Team out in Central Florida pouring their love into their community – especially with their local first responders. Some of the many ways they have shown their support for first responders have been delivering pies during Thanksgiving. They made sure that all local fire stations and hospitals got to enjoy Thanksgiving festivities as well.

We had an opportunity to get to know Paul a little better and wanted to share the interview.
Q: How long have you been in Real Estate?
Paul : \”18 years. I got my first license in Maryland in December 2002. In 2003 I became licensed in Delaware. In 2015 I was finally able to move back to Florida and have been licensed here since. I have also spent over eight years as a managing broker for two of the major real estate companies\”
Q : What are your accreditations?
Paul : \”CRS, SFR, ePRO, CNE, GKC, PSA, and just added MRP (Military Relocation Professional)\”
Q: Wow thats impressive!! Can you explain to our readers – what those accreditations stand for?
Paul : \”I am happy you asked….
CRS (Certfied Residential Specialist),SFR (Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource), ePRO (Real Estate Technology Professional), CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), GKC (Gold Key Certification for Excellence in Professionalism), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), MRP (Military Relocation Professional).
On top of that I am also a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Speaker and Trainer; a Florida Realtors Faculty Member; a Florida Licensed Real Estate Instructor; and A Former Broker for Premier Sotheby\’s International Realty\”
Q : You clearly love what you do… What do you love most about Real-Estate?
Paul : \”I get to help people fulfill their dreams and achieve their goals.\”
Q : Can you tell us your most favorite closing/client scenario?
Paul : \” I picked up a short sale listing for a couple. He was a veteran, and she was a teacher. Unfortunately, they were divorcing, and the home was severely underwater. It was a very bitter and turbulent transaction, but in the end, the job got done successfully. Everybody was happy and satisfied with how the transaction flowed.\”
Q : We love our families. Tell us about your family.
Paul : \”Valerie and I have been together for almost five years. She has two children from a previous marriage, and I have 3.

My family story has much more turbulence than most. My three kids\’ mother was mentally ill, and one day she decided to abduct my three children and went from Florida to Canada and eventually to Mexico. I published a book about the whole ordeal called \”Have You Seen My Kids?\” After many years each child came back on their own and in their own time. My two daughters live in the Orlando area while my son has remained in Mexico, but we try and see each other yearly. I have two grandchildren. Leo is the older; he is 8 and quite the entertainer. Ethan, who will be 5 in January, is our little miracle baby. There are so many medical issues, and he has been in and out of the hospital so many times enduring multiple surgeries and many illness’. He has changed my perspective on so much in life. I have been inspired to finish my second book called \”Living Well in Turbulent Times\” which will be available in early 2021.\”

Q : What are your hobbies?
Paul : \”I love to play pickleball and racquetball, kayaking, beach time, and living a healthy lifestyle.\”
Q: What motivated you to join Heroes Housing?
Paul : \”At this time of our lives, it is all about giving back. We appreciate all that our heroes do for the community and feel that there is no better niche for us to be in than this one. We have family members that are veterans, healthcare workers, teachers, and former police officers. I also have a special needs grandson who requires round the clock nursing care. After my quadruple bypass at the age of 59, I had gained an even better perspective of how I should be living my life. We see how hard these heroes work and how underpaid and under-appreciated these heroes are.\”

Q : What is the key take-away you feel our clients need to know?
Paul : \” That there is no catch, this is for real, and that we are all here to help with the process keeping the hero\’s best interest at heart.\”
Thank you Paul!
